Welcome to the first of many encounters! I’m Doris and in my transparency, the truth seeps out. This type of narrative leaves no room for apologies, only parts of myself I know I can’t hide. I can tell you my expectations are fueled by hope, waiting, and encouragement. Not because I expect a gadzillion people to visit this site, but if one person is touched in the exchange by what God has said through my obedience to wait, to write, and to show up, then I don’t mind being transparent.

It’s scary I know. I don’t always get life right. Maybe you and I share the same narrative. Maybe you ask questions. Maybe you wonder why. Maybe you juggle far too much with far too little. And just maybe you want to hear from the One who provides all the answers. If you do, welcome to my world. If not, you won’t be turned away. I promise.

I’m compelled to encourage, to spur one on. And then the next and so on and so on. I’m asked to reveal my tough and tender scars using the sweet gifts of perspective, encouragement, and peace. God calls them P.E.P. Talks; I call them blessings.
